To apply for an EAÜ membership, the publisher must certify that:
- publishing music is one of the publisher's activities that he/she is constantly engaged in
- the rights and obligations between the author and the publisher established in the publishing contract are balanced and the distribution of royalties (between the publisher and the author) collected by collective management organizations is in accordance with CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers) rules.
Before joining EAÜ, we kindly ask publishers to familiarize with general conditions of the membership contract.
To apply for a membership, you will then need to fill out the application form and either submit it as a digitally signed form to the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org or bring the hand-signed form to the EAÜ office (Lille 13, 10614 Tallinn).
The received applications will be examined and admission will be decided by the Board of EAÜ. The membership contract is concluded after the publisher has been accepted as a member of EAÜ.
EAÜ expects its publishing members to send copies of publishing contracts to EAÜ in a timely manner, as this ensures correct and prompt registration of the works (registration of musical works).
